Portsmouth officials have advised residents to be prepared for high tides and a storm surge that could lead to flooded streets, similar to the storm earlier this year. Meteorologists are warning of astronomical high tides around noon and midnight.

Some parts of the region will see heavy, wet snow but most of the area will see rain.

Manchester officials have advised residents that the heavy rain could lead to street flooding. Residents have been urged to make sure storm drains near their homes are clear of debris.

Utility crews are standing by to deal with expected outages from the strong winds that accompany the storm.

The storm will move off the coast by tonight, but there will be gusty winds through the weekend.
