WOKQ Listeners Think These Are the Worst Sounds in the World

Some sounds just make us cringe! For me, it is the sound when your fork or knife accidentally scrapes against your plate when you are eating! EEEK! Just the thought sends shivers down my spine. For Chio, he hates when motorcycles rev their engines. It scares the living daylights out of him.

We posed this question on our WOKQ Facebook Page to find out what sounds our listeners can't stand and per usual, you did not disappoint! Here are a few of my favorites:

Tamara Pike:My ex husbands voice

Lisa Grover Paglio: My children yelling “Mom!” (For the 100th time this morning).

Michelle Smith: Hiccups!! I can't stand hearing someone with hiccups!! Omg!

Kelly Randall Freeman: People who chew with their mouths open and slurp their drinks!

Patti Malone: A middle aged woman asking for the manager.

Kellie Moniz Woodcock: My dog puking

Of course people managed to also turn this topic into a political debate. Some people said the worst sound in the world is "Trumps voice" others said "When Liberals talk". I'd like to remind everyone that the topics we present on the morning show are meant to be lighthearted and fun. When you take them to a political and hateful place (either side) you are being the worst. Thank you for coming to my Ted talk!
