Despite the fact that it's pretty much all about poop, tonight's council meeting is very important for the future of Portsmouth.

Those in opposition for plans to construct sewage operations plant on Pierce Island plan to voice their opinion once again tonight.

As published in the Portsmouth Patch, last week's city council meeting brought over 200 people packing into the council chambers to voice their opposition.  The concern is that such a plant and massive undertaking of it's construction could drastically effect commerce in Portsmouth.

It will be interesting to see how the vote swings tonight.  The cost of such a project exceeds $70 Million. (the largest bond in city history.)
