A New Old Navy Store In Rochester Will Open Next Week

The store's opening is ahead of a summer full of activity in the city's newest plaza.

The Ridge marketplace is gearing up for a flurry of activity this summer. The sprawling 375,000-square-foot complex is already home to a Market Basket, and local businesses like Bloom’n Cow Ice Cream, Eastern Paradise and Tiare Nail Spa. Aside from the opening of Old Navy, a 3,500-square-foot Mattress Firm will be opening in front of Market Basket.

According to Fosters.com, The Ridge will feature a live performance from the University of New Hampshire music group Clandestine Jazz Collective from 6 to 9 p.m. on Friday, June 21. Kids will love it , with bounce houses and balloon art. The plaza is also planning “Water Wednesdays” starting on the 29th. This will kick off with water slides and a dunk tank during a “Splash into Summer” event from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Back to Old Navy. According to Fosters.com, staff are working to get it ready for Old Navy’s annual Fourth of July sale.
