End of Week Slushfest Expected For Seacoast New Hampshire

While one to three inches of snow will likely fall, rain and sleet mixed in could cause a little mayhem tomorrow and Friday.

Wednesday is National Weatherpersons Day. Here in New Hampshire, they will be focused on two quick storms ripping through the area.

According to WMUR News 9, after a few mild days, the Granite State will slide back into more seasonal temps with highs in the lower to mid 30's. That's right, right around the freezing mark. 

This is just in time for winter weather to return, starting Thursday morning.

Here on the seacoast,  a few inches of snow will be on the ground by Thursday morning's commute and light snow will still be falling. Then, it will change over to freezing rain and sleet. Eventually, coastal towns will change to all rain.

Then, storm two rolls in.

According to WMUR News 9, Late Thursday night, another storm system will bring more intense bands of freezing rain and sleet in central and southern areas. Yes, ice.

Friday's morning commute could be even more challenging. Charge your electronics, there is also a chance of power outages and tree damage if the freezing rain persists.
