Gas Prices Hold Steady

(Dover, NH) Despite a few slight ups and downs over the past few weeks, gasoline prices in New Hampshire are at the same level as they were a month ago.

The survey by gasbuddy shows the average price for a gallon of regular in New Hampshire is $2.31 today.

In Massachusetts and Maine, the average price is $2.35, and in Vermont, it's $2.38 a gallon.

Historically on June 5th, New Hampshire motorists paid an average of $2.29 a gallon last year, $2.66 in 2015, $3.60 in 2014, $3.46 in 2013 and $3.58 in 2012.

The highest prices in the latest survey wer in California, with an average price of $3.08 a gallon.

South Carolina g=had the lowest average price at $2.02 a gallon.
