Listen to Chio and Kira Grant Their First Ever ‘Christmas Wish’

This year more so than others, a lot of New England families are struggling. Many could use a helping hand to put smiles on their kids' faces this holiday season. That's why Chio and I decided to start our first annual "Chio and Kira's Christmas Wish" .

Do you know someone that has been hit hard this year?  Do you know some family that is just one paycheck from disaster? We would like you to nominate a friend or family member that could use a little help. (Two rules: they must live in the New England area and they cannot live under the same roof as you)

Chio, myself, and country artist Rayne Johnson want to give deserving families a REAL DANG GOOD Christmas! These families will receive $500 dollars each and it's all made possible by Mountain Road Records and sponsored by AJ Leblanc Heating and Cooling.

We started granting wishes on Monday and the response has been unbelievable. We granted our first wish on Monday to a woman named Carissa from Rochester. Carissa was in a serious car accident that has taken a serious physical toll on her and an emotional toll on her family. She was nominated by her cousin/best friend and the letter she wrote was unbelievably touching. In case you missed it, here is the audio:

Many listeners were so moved by this letter that they felt compelled to help Carissa and her family. The holiday spirit is alive and well in our community. We are thrilled to be able to bring some cheer to families during this difficult year.
