Man Arrested For Failing to Return a VHS Tape 14 Years Ago.

Can this really happen?  Apparently It can.

ABC News is reporting that a man in North Carolina was arrested for failing to return a VHS that he had he rented 14 years ago.

James Meyers Jr. says he was driving his 10-year-old daughter to school.  After police in Concord, NC pulled him over for a simple burnt out taillight, it was revealed that there was a warrant out for his arrest dating back to 2002.

Apparently the single Dad had rented Freddy Got Fingered in 2002 and failed to return it.

Police say he had rented the VHS at J&J Video in Salisbury, North Carolina.  The best part? The store has been closed for about 10 years now.
