Dan Brown is in Florence Italy preparing the film adaption of his latest best seller "Inferno". Tom Hanks will once again play Harvard symbiologist Robert Langdon and will co-star with Academy Award nominee Felicity Jones.

 Ron Howard will be in the directors chair for the third adaptation of a Brown novel to the big screen. He previously collaborated with Brown and Hanks on "The DaVinci Code" and "Angels and Demons".

"Inferno"  centers on Italian poet Dante Alighieri's  "The Divine Comedy" with Robert Langdon following clues from the poets life and work in a chase to save the world from a  man-made plague.

The movie which started production Monday will be released in 2016 by Sony Pictures.
