The narrator's voice, the grainy black and white footage, the dated phrases-- everything about this documentary from the 1950's is a joy to watch. Not only that, but seeing what New Hampshire was like over half a century ago is pretty great too.

The documentary, made available on YouTube by travelfilmarchive, is at times very forward looking: you'll lean about the "tramway of tomorrow" at Cannon Mountain and how the State University of Durham trains the "agriculturists of tomorrow."

Also featured are clips of Concord High School's marching band, Lake Winnipesaukee, Dolly Copp Camp, and where you can where can "swim with these modern lorelei.. and why not".
