Plenty of Animals Just Waiting to be Adopted at Cocheco Valley Humane Society in Dover

Whether you're a dog person, cat person, bird person or other small animal person, there are plenty of friends waiting for you at Cocheco Valley Humane Society.

CVHS in Dover always has plenty of furry creatures waiting for their forever homes. Who knows, maybe your first or next family pet is patiently waiting for you at Cocheco Valley Humane Society.

Recently, CVHS featured Penny. Penny has been a resident of CVHS for a while now. Penny's bio reads: 

I LOVE walks! I may be in my golden years, but I still have a lot of energy. Although I prefer my own space at times, during playtime I want nothing more than to interact with you. I really love squeaky balls. I can be nervous around new people and can be very sensitive when it comes to people touching my back end, so I will need someone who is willing to stick up for me and be my advocate during situations that make me uncomfortable. I would do great in a home with older, respectful humans. I have lived with both dogs and cats in my past life. I’d love for you to give me my forever home!

If you're a cat lover, say hi to 'Punk!' Punk is a domestic short-haired male cat who has a birthday coming up in a few months! 

Maybe, you and your family love rabbits? You can stop by CVHS and say hi to 'Snowball!'

Many of you may know that my dog Brandy is a Cocheco Valley Humane Society alum, so I have a special place in my heart for all the great work these folks do.
