I'm not quite sure when the pumpkin spice craze originally became a thing, but man it has gotten a little out of hand. There are so many things you can get that taste or smell like pumpkin spice. Google Trends recently released a map showing each state's uniquely searched pumpkin spice food and drinks. Give it up for Pennsylvania for choosing Pumpkin Spice Vodka and Oregon for picking the Pumpkin Spice White Russian. Those are some solid choices and I'll join them for a drink any day.
In New England however, we didn't get that creative. In fact, some of the choices for the New England States are downright odd. It makes you wonder why in the world they are searching for these things.
