The Old Robbins Auto Building in Dover Is Coming Down

(Dover, NH) - After several weeks of preparation, crews have begun the actual work of tearing down the 4-building complex on Washington Street.

Joe Miner of New Hampshire Demolition began working on the rear of the structure Monday morning, pulling down cinder-block walls and interior floors.

By days end, all that remained of that section was a pile of rubble.

Miner says he expects that the work of tearing down the block-long building and carting away the debris will take about a month to complete.
