This Popular Pizza Chain Has Filed For Bankruptcy and Is Closing 15 Locations
I have nothing but fond memories of Bertucci's. I was a waitress there while I attended UMASS Amherst. Bringing extra bread rolls and dipping oil to my neighbors in the dorms was a great way to make friends!
I was so sad to see that the corporation has filed chapter 11 bankruptcy. According to USA Today, the Northboro, MA-based restaurant is closing 15 of its locations. The specific locations that are closing have yet to be released.
The restaurant Tweeted out this message Monday morning:
We can only hope the Bertucci's locations in Nashua, Salem, Manchester, North Andover, Andover, and Chelmsford won't be on the list of 15! Keep your eye on the Bertucci's twitter account for the list of closures.
In the meantime lets all drown our sorrows in a Sporkie pizza. If you've never had one, you need to get on that today.
