WOKQ Virtual Sessions: Lee Brice Concert This Friday
WOKQ Virtual Sessions, brought to you by Newburyport Bank, continues this Friday night with one of our favorites.
Lee Brice is celebrating his brand new album, HEY WORLD, by having a virtual concert! Lee and his band will perform songs from the new album, along with some of his biggest hits.
The other fun part of the night is that Lee will be telling the stories behind the songs and be talking about the making of the new album.
This livestream experience will be on our Facebook here at 8pm on Friday!
Lee just gave an interview to People magazine where he talked about having Covid. Lee says he was diagnosed on November 8th, and had a pretty bad fever and other cold like symptoms. Lee tells People that he's been quarantining away from his family:
"My barn is just down the road from the house, so Sara will bring them down here, so I can see them out the window, I just need to see them. All I want to do is go hug them and kiss them."
He was also forced to sit it out for the Country Music Awards this year, and Charles Kelley from Lady A filled in for him for his hit song with Carly Pearce "I Hope You're Happy Now". The song won for Musical Event of the Year!
Lee's quarantine will be up on Wednesday and he's getting right back into making music with his livestream here this Friday night!
Lee's new single is called Memory I Don't Mess With:
The new album, Hey World, is available everywhere on Friday!
