Salute To Seniors: New Hampshire Volunteer Loves What She Does
97.5 WOKQ and American Senior Magazine have teamed up to salute an outstanding senior who makes New Hampshire a special place to live. Over the next few months, we'll highlight some amazing people. This week, we feature Lorraine Charron.
Here's what her daughter, Lisa Roy, had to say about her mom...
My mom volunteers for the Granite State Ambassadors. Over the years she has done over 3,000 hours. She volunteers at the visitors center in Manchester, and at the airport. She also volunteers at the Palace Theater as an usher, as well as CMC Hospital in the gift shop. She has also knitted hats for newborn babies at the Elliot hospital. She enjoys what she does, and loves meeting new people.
Nominate a special senior in your life to tell their story. They can be a relative, friend, neighbor or someone else you know. You can even nominate yourself. The featured senior will receive a $50 gift card to use at an area mall, and a one year subscription to American Senior magazine. They'll also be invited to a luncheon here at Townsquare Media, honoring all of the seniors we're saluting.
